I went along with Lucas to shoot some photos of the new Vamp Furniture store for the ‘new look’ dbriefed site, however I took so many that I had to share the rest..

Vamp Furniture has relocated to a bigger and better store on Albert Road. The store is divided into 3 very different spaces. The first is filled with all of the ‘kitchenphanalia’ – which I love, so many cute pieces to choose from. The second room happens to be my favourite, when I think Vamp this is what I think of.. The lovingly restored / upcycled furniture by  Michael Dodd are such statement pieces, with these crazy pops of colour. You need them in your life! The third room is filled with not so hidden treasures, retro furniture from the 50′s, 60′s and 70′s.

The store stocks so many great South African designers including John Bauer, Skinny laMinx, Isa Beau Peep, Lauren Fowler, Gwen Loves Harold, Smac Harry, Ikhaya, Moonbasket and René Rossouw. If you’re looking for something a little different, a little quirky cool for your space, make sure Vamp is first on your list!
